Heck ~ Mrs. Heck was born to the late W. Bradley and Ida Mae Anderson September 14, 1933, in Statesboro, Georgia. She attended the local schools in Georgia and located to Jacksonville, Florida at the age of sixteen.
Willie Mae was a cook for Duval County School Board approximately thirteen years; she loved to cook and was a very eloquent dresser. She was baptized at an early age and also attended Jehovah’s Witness Faith.
Willie Mae was married to Lester Heck and the union was blessed with five children. She was preceded in death by son, Larry Heck, Jr. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Johnnie M. Heck (George), Christine Hester (Lucious), Casandra Green (Carl Stevie), Susie A. Heck; grandchildren, Michele Owens, Denise Smith, Derrick Smith of California, Julus Smith, Tonia Hester, Lucius Hester Jr (Taneshia), Nikkie Patterson (B. J.), Jason Hester, Johnny Heck, Shantel Green, Tony Heck (Tina), Rod Heck, Little Larry Heck, Chuckie Heck, Ryhene Heck; sister-in-law, Shirley Keith; a host of nephews and nieces in Claxton, Georgia and Atlanta, Georgia.
Memorial service for Mrs. Willie Mae Anderson Heck will be 10:00AM Saturday, December 28, 2024, at The Soutel Chapel. Because of the love of her family, arrangements entrusted to J. E. Fralin & Sons Funeral & Cremation Services, 5065 Soutel Drive, 904-924-9400
