Pinkney ~ Willie James Pinkney, Jr. was born in Brunswick, Georgia, October 27, 1962, to Willie Sr. and Mary Pinkney. He attended William Raines Senior High School where he participated in track and field and played football. Willie was a loving son, father, and grandfather. He was employed as a “Handy man” and loved to D J for the Group Riders Motorcycle Club.
Willie was preceded in death by his father, stepfather, brother and aunts. He is survived by mother, Mary; daughter, Karica (Ralph); three grandchildren; fiancée, Carolyn; brother, Corey (Felicia); sister, Cynthia; aunts, Martha, Annie (Rev. Charles); dear friend, Larry; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins & friends, including very close friend, Reginald Blount (they were two peas in a pod).
Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of Willie James Pinkney, Jr, 11 AM Thursday, May 12, 2022, at The Soutel Chapel. Visitation one hour before the service.
