Outlaw ~ Willie Frank Outlaw was born February 11, 1951 in Wrightsville, Georgia to the union of the late Willie Edward Outlaw and Lillie Bell Jackson Outlaw. He attended Dock Kemp Elementary School before moving to Jacksonville, Florida in 1959. Willie then attended Duval County Public Schools, eventually graduating from William M. Raines High School, and was a member of Mt. Herman Baptist Church.
Willie was affectionately known as “Bud” and also known for his loyalty and dedication to ensure everyone was doing well; especially his mother. He will always be remembered by his last words spoken to her on the Sunday before he transitioned, saying, “I just needed to stop by, lay my eyes on you, and let you know you are going to be alright”.
He departed this life Wednesday, April 6th at home as he slept away and was welcomed into the Master’s arms. Willie was preceded in death by his father, Willie Edward Outlaw; stepfather, Willie Cason; sister, Earlene Outlaw Roberts. He leaves memories to be cherished by his son, Marvin Cuyler; daughters, Sheila Lester and Annqunette Wright (Dre); a loving mother, Lillie Bell Outlaw-Cason; brothers, Wade Outlaw (Harriett) and Wilbert Outlaw (Katrina); sisters, Arlene Walker (Butch), Grand Rapids, Michigan, Lillie Pearl Washington, Rosie Mae Outlaw, Ruth Outlaw, Lisa Snow, Rebecca McCaskill (Marcus), Orange Park, Florida and LaRose Y. Manker (Calvin), Gainesville, Florida; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Celebration of Life service for Willie Frank Outlaw will be 1:00 PM Saturday, April 16, 2022 at Mt. Herman Missionary Baptist Church, Pastor A. L. Jordan, Sr. Visitation Friday from 5 – 7:00 PM at The Soutel Chapel. Interment in Restlawn Memorial Park. Because of the love of his family, arrangements entrusted to J. E.
