Obituary

Thomas ~ Vascille Thomas was born September 27, 1954, in Jacksonville, Florida, to Harry Thomas and Georgia Mae Thomas. She attended Duval County Public Schools and graduated from Williams M. Raines Senior High School. Vascille retired as a Supervisor in Janitorial Service with over thirty years of dedicated service.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry Thomas and Georgia Mae Thomas; brother, James Smith II; sisters, Willie Gay Owens (Johnnie), Mary McCray (Selven). Vascille leaves to cherish her memory, sister, Thelma Thomas; special niece, Rosemary Rollins; nephews, nieces; best friends, Gloria Bell and Carline Emanuel; a host of other relatives and friends.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of Vascille Thomas, 12 PM Saturday, June 24, 2023, at The Soutel Chapel. Interment is Evergreen Cemetery. Because of the love of her family, arrangements entrusted to J. E. Fralin & Sons Funeral & Cremation Services, 5065 Soutel Dr, 904.924.9400.
