Sandra Ellison

Ellison ~ Mrs. Sandra Lucille Ellison was born June 13, 1948, in Jacksonville, Florida to Sam Moore and Edna Casey.  She attended William M. Raines Senior High School. 

Sandra had a special love for fashion, always gorgeous on any occasion. She retired from the Department of Corrections in 2000 and enjoyed her life as a retiree since that time. 

Mrs. Ellison was preceded in death by her father, Samuel Moore; mother, Edna Frazier; brothers, Allen Gibbs, Ernest Eugene Gibbs, Frank Gibbs, Daniel Moore, Billy Lorenzo Moore, Cecil Moore, Sr.; sisters, Barbara Scott, Dorothy Gyden; sister-in-law, Joann Stevens.  She leaves to cherish her memories her husband of fifty-five years, Mr. Albert Michael Ellison, Jr; son, Eric Michael Ellison (Keri); daughters, Tonya Butler (Tim), Lawanda Dixon, Sherry Ellison; grandchildren, Nickki Ellison, Jamhal Wells, Xavier Ellison, Eric Michael Ellison (Isamar), Alexis Weaver (Corbin), Michael Eric Ellison (Jasmine), Christian Jeffers, Kayon Ellison, Dejah Ellison, Cameron Ellison, Jahrell Wells, Jordan Wells, Ariah Ellison, Analia Ellison, Corbin Weaver, Jr.; brothers, Clement Henry Gibbs (Deborah), Samuel Moore (Deborah); sisters, Judy James, Joyce Moore, Audrey Benton, Edith Moore; brothers-in-law, Kenny Ellison (Denese), Prince Stevens; sisters-in-law, Casandra Robinson, Margie Levine, Maxine Ellison; Special friend, Gloria Evans; a host of extended family and friends.

Celebration of Life service for Mrs. Sandra Lucille Ellison will be 10:00AM Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 3738 Winton Drive.  Visitation Monday from 5 – 7:00 PM at The Soutel Chapel.  Interment in Jacksonville National Cemetery.  Because of the love of her family, arrangements entrusted to J.
