Russell Gene Travis was born August 12, 1969, 3:29p.m. at Huntington Hospital New York Long Island to the parents of Sophia Phillips and the late Edward Gene Travis. He attended Central Islip High School.

Travis was preceded in death by his wife, Susan Travis; father; and brother. He is survived by his son, Brandon Travis; stepdaughter, Brianna Evans; grandson, Kaice Travis; mother, Sophia Phillips; sisters, Helen Williams & Gwen Travis; maternal grandmother; former wife, Patricia Travis & two stepdaughters; uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Memorial Service for Russell Gene Travis will be 6:00 PM Monday, February 15, 2021 at The Soutel Chapel. Arrangements entrusted to J. E. Fralin & Sons Funeral & Cremation Services, 5065 Soutel Drive, 904.924.9400
