Stewart ~ Robert Stewart was born July 29, 1949 to Dock and Bessie Mae Stewart in Sandersville, Georgia. He graduated from Eugene J. Butler High School.
Robert worked in construction over forty years, retiring from Calloway Contracting. He enjoyed writing; he was an inspirational writer. Robert attended The Jacksonville Assembly of The Body of Christ.
He departed his earthly life November 4, 2021. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Dock and Bessie Mae Stewart; brother, Jimmie Lee Stewart; sisters, Bernice Cox, Carolyn Tobler and Linda Stewart. He leaves to cherish his memory, a loving wife of forty-six years, Sharon Stewart; children, Robert Levine Stewart, Tomika Stewart (Calvin), Aundre Stewart (Erica), Marvette Stewart and Keyon Osiris Stewart (Emily); grandchildren, Nautica, Tre’shelle, Aundre, Roberia, Aundrea, Tianna, Renatta, Robin, De’Aundria, Madison, King & Demarco Stewart; four great grandchildren; a loving brother, Johnny Stewart; brothers-in-law, Roddrick Thomas (Rhonda), Wetzel Thomas (Sheila), Taft Thomas; sister-in-law, Anitra Garland; god brother, Donald Joudon; god daughter, Karen Thomas; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends
Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of Robert Stewart, 11 AM Saturday, November 20, 2021, at Jacksonville Assembly of The Body of Christ, 6350 Old Kings Road.
