Ransom ~ Ricky Rionell Ransom, 30, passed away unexpectedly on May 8, 2026, in Jacksonville, Florida. Born on April 30, 1996, in Beaumont, Texas, Ricky was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, and friend whose presence brought laughter, love, and comfort to those around him.
Ricky is survived by his loving parents, Richard Ransom and Latynia Ransom-Peel; sister, Rica Ransom; brother, Randy Ransom; wife, Isabella Jackson; cherished children, Jasmine, Rouxby, Ronin, and Rudeus, whom he loved deeply and wholeheartedly; many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends who will forever treasure his memory. He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Ransom Jr., whom he now joins in eternal rest.
Ricky was a spiritual person who valued love, connection, and time spent with family. He enjoyed fishing, watching anime, Pokémon, and gathering with the people he cared about most. Ricky loved making people laugh and never passed up the chance to tell a good dad’s joke. Above all else, being a father brought him pride and joy, and his children were the center of his world.
Though his passing was unexpected, Ricky’s memory will continue to live on through the love he gave, the laughter he shared, and the lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
"You don't set out to build a wall... You say, 'I'm gonna lay this brick as perfectly as a brick can be laid,' and you do that every single day, and soon you have a wall". Will Smith
Goodbye is not forever. Goodbye is not the end. It simply means I'll miss you until we meet again." —
