McKincy ~ Juanita Laynette McKinzy, loving daughter of Juan V. McKinzy and Tamika L. Benson was born September 20, 2017, in Jacksonville, Florida. She attended VPK at Wayman’s Academy. Juanita enjoyed eating Takis, playing on her tablet and phone, posing for pictures with “duck lips” and the peace sign.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Willie McKinzy; grandmother, Andrea Govan; aunts, Shavelle McKinzy & Kendra Barbary. Juanita is survived by father, Juan McKinzy; mother, Tamika Benson; loving grandmother, Dorothy Benson; brother, Rashard Moody; sisters, Lamesha Smith, Sheena McKinzy, Juanecia (Eddie) Edwards, Victoria (Christopher) Burns, Rayvn Stancheck; uncles, Eric Benson, Zedrick Govan; aunt, Shavon McKinzy-Willis; nephews, Rashawn Smith, Rashard Ford, Eddie Edwards III; niece, Lanae Smith; a host of cousins, extended family and friends.
Celebration of Life service for Juanita Laynette McKinzy will be 2:00PM Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Mt. Herman Missionary Baptist Church, 5527 Red Poll Avenue.
