Patricia Louise Reddick Sasnett was born May 7, 1950, in Sandford, Florida. She was the second daughter of the late Presiding Elder Albert Joseph Reddick and Mrs. Clara Louise Roberts Reddick.
Patricia was a product of the Duval County School System. She graduated from Stanton Senior High School in June 1968. Patricia furthered her education by attending Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and graduating in 1972 with a degree in Library Science.
At an early age Patricia accepted Christ as her personal savior. Throughout her life, Paticia attended the various AME churches that her father pastored. Patricia was a Librarian at Arlington Middle School prior to becoming ill.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Presiding Elder Albert Jospeh Reddick and Clara Louise Roberts Reddick. Patricia Sasnett departed this life Tuesday, January 2, 2024, after a lengthy illness.
Patricia’s life and legacy will be remembered by her sons, Patrick Joseph Sasnett and John Albert Sampson; grandchildren, Patricia Arielle Sasnett, Albert Joseph Reddick Sasnett, Clarisse Sasnett, Chloe Sasnett; great grandsons, Mekhi Sasnett and Hakeem Page. She also leaves behind loving sisters, Cleo Reddick Jones and Marian Joanne Reddick Morris (Santa Monica, California); nephew, Michael Reddick Morris (Pittsburg, Pennsylvania); niece, Sherese Louise Jones; a devoted friend and classmate, Mrs. Gail Wilder Jenkins (Delray Beach, Florida); special sisters-in-law, Leila Hendley and Theresa Little; numerous other relatives and friends.
