Moore ~ Otto “Toe” Moore was born July 4, 1937, in Donalsonville, Georgia to the late Dave and Rebecca Moore. He was a graduate of Matthew W. Gilbert class of 1955 and was employed as a mail clerk at Florida Community College of Jacksonville (now known as Florida State College of Jacksonville). After thirty-two years of service, Otto retired to a great life of fishing and spending time with loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dave and Rebecca Moore; daughter, Angela Fisher; sister, Lula Duncan; brothers, Lester Moore Sr. and Harold “Buddy” Moore.
Otto departed from us on May 28, 2024, and leaves to cherish his memory, a loving wife of over forty years, Hazel Fisher-Moore; sons, Otto Moore Jr. and Dennis Jenkins; daughters, Erica Moore-Williams (Billy Williams, Jr.), Crystal Moore, Jahselah “Tosha” Breary; grandchildren, Brayon Moore, Braylen Cohen, Rayonna Cull, Billy Williams III; great-grandchildren, Billy Williams IV, and Braylen Cohen Jr.; a host of nephews, nieces, family and friends. He will truly be missed.
Celebration of Life service for Otto Moore will be 11:00AM Saturday, June 8, 2024, at The Soutel Chapel. Visitation Friday from 5 – 7:00 PM at The Soutel Chapel.
