Battle ~ Natharena Battle was born July 21, 1970, in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Earmon Oliver, Sr. and Vera Clemons.
Natherena, who loved ones called Nae, attended and excelled within the Duval County School System, graduating from William M. Raines Senior High School. Upon graduating, she pursued her career as a teacher in early childhood education for over twenty years. She was a very kindhearted and loving individual who was loved by many.
Nae worked hard to protect and provide a life for her beautiful daughters, grandchildren, and many bonus children who encountered her presence. She was well known locally and was the life of every party with her special dance moves and famous split. As feisty as Nae could be, those who knew her knew it came from a genuine place and that was just her way of expressing her love.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents and niece, Tanvell Jackson. Nae is survived by her four beautiful blessings, Kenya Oliver, Arnnell Robinson, Tarkisha Finley (Terrance), Charletta Towns; a handsome son, Algin Williams; grandchildren, Alexander White, NaQuwan Warren, Angelina White, Kevon Johnson, Ke’Andre Lewis, Cedric London Jr., Mauriana Anderson, Ke’Shaun Lewis, Cortez London, Cairon London, Sevyn Towns, Te’Narus Tinley, Antonio Dalton Jr, Terrance Tinley Jr, Avien Williams, Amir Williams; siblings: Marlene St George, Tarman Oliver Jr., Raquel Oliver, Markita Clemins; a host of nephews, nieces, godchildren, other relatives and friends.
Being missed is an understatement when speaking of our beautiful Nae. Nobody left behind was ready for her to go, but the memories of her left a permanent mark on the hearts of all who loved her.
