Nathaniel B. Williams

Williams ~ Nathaniel B. “Nate” Williams was born October 3, 1956, in Jacksonville, Florida, to the parent of Ms. Mildred Williams.  He was raised in Jacksonville and attended New Stanton High School.  Nathaniel attended college in North Dakota and was drafted into the National Football League and played for the New England Patriots.  He was employed for many years at the Mental Health Center of Jacksonville; most recent employment was with BP Service Station.  His warm and kind personality captivated the hearts of many; Nathaniel will be greatly missed by all who knew him.  His heart was patient, kind, full of love and joy.

Nathaniel was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Williams; sisters, Christine Tyler, Deborah Shaw.  He leaves to mourn his passing siblings, Raymond Williams (Bertha), Leroy Zeigler, Robert Leroy Williams, Carolyn Pollard (Brian), Lorraine Williams, Shirley Tyler; aunt, Ruthie Wilkerson; extended family, Reginald Price, Melissa Orie, Jessica Baker, Deborah Stamper, Tomeka Johnson (Mike), Vanessa Henry, Dr. Yvonne Todd; long time special friend, June Normil; god daughter, Melanese Bartley; Pleasant Grove Elevation Church family; a host of nephews, nieces and sorrowing friends.

Celebration of Life service for Nathaniel Brooks Williams will be 1:00PM Saturday, July 15, 2023 at The Soutel Chapel.  Visitation Friday from 5 – 7:00 PM at The Soutel Chapel.  Interment in Restlawn Memorial Park.  Because of the love of his family, arrangements entrusted to J.
