Gipson ~ Mary L. Gipson (Man-Man), loving daughter to Ms. Viola L. Stewart was born August 8, 1948, in Clark, Alabama. Mary moved to Jacksonville when she was very young with her mother. She attended James Weldon Johnson High School and began a career in the hospitality industry upon leaving. Mary was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed music, horror movies, westerns, doing puzzles, and watching wrestling. Mary was also a beloved Jaguars fan. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Michelle Cruz; grandson, Juan F. Cruz IV; great-grandchildren, Juan F. Cruz V and Amethyst Cruz; a host of cousins, aunts, and other friends.
