WHITE ~ Marshall V. “Frank” White, Sr. was born November 18, 1950, in Memphis, Tennessee, to Christine White. After graduating from high school, he located to Jacksonville, Florida to join the United States Navy. After honorable discharge from the Navy, Marshall spent his professional career in the construction industry as a general contractor and handyman.
He had a simple lifestyle, preferring to spend as much time as possible around his family and friends. His hobbies included barbequing, listing to music and cheering for his beloved Dallas Cowboys.
Marshall died at UF Health in Jacksonville, Florida, Wednesday, February 1, 2021. He is survived by his children, Tiffany Marshall and Marshall V. White, Jr. (Denika); grandchildren, Niguel Marshall and Naheim Marshall; great-grandchildren, A’morie Marshall and Taymar Marshall; nephews, Robert Shafter, Jr. and Derrick Shafter; nieces, Shonterie McKeiver (Spencer), Monica Shafter, Niki Jackson; brother-in-law, James B. Shafter (Mary); several cousins, great nephews and nieces; extended family and many friends.
