Marion B. Fenning

Fenning ~ Mrs. Marion Burch Fenning was born January 28, 1936, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Jordan and Mozelle Burch.  She was one of six children.  Marion answered the Lord’s call and departed this life Tuesday, July 25, 2023.

She was educated in the Philadelphia Public School System and graduated from Murrell Dobbins Vocational-Technical High School.  She was later employed by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services where she received an Outstanding Secretarial Award in 1990.

Marion loved the Lord and received him as her Savior.  Prior to moving to be closer to family in Jacksonville, Florida due to her declining health, she attended Kaighn Avenue Baptist Church in Camden, New Jersey for many years, and for a time served as their trustee.

She was married for six-three years to the late Paul Fenning.  From this union came three sons, Paul Jeffrey, Jerome Jordan and the late Joel Jacob Christopher.

Marion leaves to cherish her memory sons, Paul Jeffrey Fenning (Kiz Pelzer-Fenning) and Jerome Jordan Fenning; grandchildren, Gail Fentress, Latisha Fentress, Jamal Fenning, Nakiesha Fenning; several great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

Celebration of Life service for Mrs. Marion Burch  Fenning will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, August 5, 2023 at The Soutel Chapel.  Visitation Saturday, from 1:00pm - 2:00 pm.  Because of the love of her family arrangements entrusted to J E Fralin & Sons Funeral & Cremation Services,  5065 Soutel Drive, 904 924-9400.
