Margiette E. Levine

Levine ~ Margiette Ellison Levine, lovingly known as "Margie" to her family and friends, was born on June 29, 1952, to Albert and Doris Ellison Sr. in Jacksonville, Florida.

Margie was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. She attended and graduated from William M Raines High School. Margie worked for Bell South in her early years and later at Anchor Glass Container where she retired. She enjoyed watching Cowboy and Horror Movies, Dancing and playing Spades.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert & Doris Ellison Sr; older sister, Joan Fleming Stevens; and sister-in-law, Sandra Ellison. On Monday, October 6, 2025, Margie transitioned peacefully to be with the Lord. She leaves behind two children, Carlos and Sabrina Levine; grandchildren, Kristin Love (Ronald Robinson Jr.), Whitley Levine (Darius Shaw), Breana Levine, Armani Levine, Mycheal Levine, Xavier Glenn, Deanna Glenn, Natori Levine; sixteen great grandchildren; siblings, Albert Ellison Jr., Cassandra Robinson, Kenneth Ellison (Denise), Maxine Ellison; Life Partner, Carl Johnson; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of Margiette Ellison Levine, 11 AM Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at The Soutel Chapel.   Visitation Monday from 5 – 7 PM at The Soutel Chapel.  Interment in Evergreen Cemetery.
