Stewart ~ Mr. Maceo Zacator Stewart, Jr. was born November 3, 1972, in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Maceo Z. Stewart, Sr. and Marian F. West Stewart. He attended Duval County Schools and graduated from William M. Raines High School, class of 1990. Maceo then attended Florida State College of Jacksonville. In 2004, he graduated with honors from the Culinary School of Arts.
Maceo was employed at Jaxport, Ranstad Temporary Service and was a seasonal worker at the Jacksonville Jaguars stadium. He was a single father raising his son. Maceo was a devoted Dallas Cowboys and Jacksonville Jaguars fan. He loved sports, especially football. Maceo loved his family; he enjoyed cooking, listening to music and reading. Maceo was very loyal to his family and friend.
He leaves to cherish his memories a devoted mother, Marian West Steward (Lawrence); children, Brandon Adams, Macey Stewart, Maceo Stewart III; grandchildren, Brielle, Bella, Brandi, Brandon and Peyton Adams, Armir and Indi Steward; brothers, Naim Steward, A’Keem Steward (Naomi); sisters, Tyneisha Stewart, Beneisha Pelsey, Renee Stewart, Karhala; a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and loved ones, including a devoted aunt and cousin, Sharon and Keyshawn Hutchinsons. A very special thanks to Tina “T W” Williams and anyone who shared memorial moments.
Celebration of Life service for Maceo Zacator Stewart, Jr. will be 1:00PM Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Mt. Herman Missionary Baptist Church, 5527 Redpoll Avenue. Visitation Friday from 5 – 7:00 PM at The Soutel Chapel. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery. Because of the love of his family, arrangements entrusted to J. E.
