Lucita Lashang Beachum

BEACHUM ~ Lucita (Lucy) L. Beachum, 49, of Jacksonville, FL went peacefully to be with the Lord on March 27, 2020.   Lucy was born in 1970 to Elder Shack F. Beachum and Mother Jewell Robinson Beachum of Campbellton, FL.  She was an active member of the Holy Temple Church of the Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith pastored by Bishop Belton Green, Apostle, Pastor, and General overseer and Bishop Melvin Samuels.   There she served faithfully as one of the most prolific musicians graced with the musical gift from God, and has now joined his heavenly host.

She is preceded in death by her father Elder Shack F. Beachum and Grandmother Ruby L. Barksdale.  She is lovingly remembered by her Mother Jewell Robinson Beachum, brother Maleq C. Isreal, brother Demeetris O. Beachum, sister Shakera L. Beachum, sister Vera Simmons, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, god children, and a host of family and friends.  She will always be remembered as a compassionate sister and mentor to all.  To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord, so she is “STILL STANDING”.
