Lisa James Obituary

James ~ Lisa Elainer James was born January 10, 1965, to the late Horace and Lillie Arnold.  She attended the local elementary schools and Robert E. Lee High School.  Lisa gave her life to Jesus Christ in 2004 and was a faithful member of New Instruments Of Praise Christian Fellowship, Ernestine W. Pemberton, Senior Pastor.  She was a loyal employee at Lakeview Health Center for over fifteen years.  Lisa loved God and cherished her family.

On Thursday, September 15, 2022, she transitioned home.  Lisa was preceded in death by her siblings, Ralph James, Ronnie James, Ruth Gamble, Mae Turner, Wallace James, Gloria James, Regina Fralin, Jeanette McGallon, Emmett James, Karen Gamon and Kathy Rice.  She leaves to cherish her memories her sons, Ronald (Gemille) James and Orion Johnson; grandchildren, Ca’mia James, Roniah James, Jaquarius Woodley, Ronald James lll, Camron James, and Marquise James; god children, Rahmad Gelsey, Ra’Mea Black and Brionca Morman; siblings, Toni Washington, Jeanne Lucas, Horace James, Rose James and Mona Lisa Arnold; devoted nephew, James Fralin Jr; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and all the other tards; devoted friend, Idella W. Morman and many other loving friends.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of Ms. Lisa Elainer James, 11 AM Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Mt. Herman Missionary Baptist Church, 5527 Redpoll Avenue. Visitation Friday from 5 – 7 PM at The Soutel Chapel.  Because of the love of her family, arrangements entrusted to J. E. Fralin & Sons Funeral & Cremation Services, 5065 Soutel Dr, 904.924.9400.
