Robinson ~ Linton Robinson, Jr. was born January 7, 1968, in Jacksonville, Florida to the union of Linton Robinson, Sr. and Betty Robinson. He attended Duval County Public Schools. Linton was affectionally known as “Jr. or Jit” by family and close friends.
He joined Missionary Tabernacle Baptist Church at an early age under the leadership of Reverend J. C. Green. Linton was employed at Rouse Steel Drum as a roller, Omni Hotel and Townsend Poultry as a line hanger. His most recent occupation was Independent Lawn Service.
Linton was preceded in death by his father, Linton Robinson, Sr. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Lee Andrew Haynes, Lintel Kirkland, Linton Kirkland, Youshi Kirkland; grandchildren, Lux Haynes, Sahana Kirkland, Zae’Veon Kirkland; a loving and devoted mother, Mrs. Betty Robinson; brother, Gregory Hobbs; sister, Cynthia Nicholas; loving nephew, Arthur Nicholas; loving niece, De’Anna Byrd; special close friend, Doreen Drake; a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and sorrowing friends.
Celebration of Life service for Linton Robinson will be 11:00AM Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Greater Missionary Tabernacle Baptist Church. Visitation Friday from 5 – 7:00 PM at The Soutel Chapel.
