Larry T. Davis, Sr.

Davis ~ Larry Thomas Davis, Sr. born February 23, 1948, in Jacksonville, Florida to the late George and Mable Davis, also brother to Nathaniel, George, and John Davis who preceded him in death, and leaving his sister Joann Coward to celebrate his life.  Larry graduated in 1966 from Stanton High School.  From his first marriage to Joyce Davis, he had two children, Stacy Davis (deceased) and Larry Thomas Davis, Jr.  While working for Farmers Best Ice Cream he met his current wife of 49 years Sharon Davis, and they gave birth to Richard Davis.  Larry Davis was blessed with many grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Larry Thomas Davis was known as a man who spoke his mind and stood on his word.  He was a father, a friend and a mentor to many people in his life.  Larry was a stubborn man in all the best ways.  When his health declined in the later years due to his work at Anchor Hocking Glass, still he had the mind and the will of a young man.  Larry didn't let his illness stop him from living life the way he wished.  Later in his years his time was spent with his many grand and great grandchildren who loved and adored him.  No words can express the loss of this man. No words can describe the love those around had for him.  He will be missed but always loved.
