Larry Bracy

Bracy ~ Larry Bracy was born January 31, 1957 in Jacksonville, Florida to William and Cora Mae Bracy.  He graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Jacksonville, Florida.

Larry married the love of his life, Denise Bracy, July 1982.  He was employed with Baptist Medical Center and later, Larry became a successful entrepreneur and opened Larry’s Shoe Repair.  Larry was a member of Heaven Fire Church of God under the leadership of Pastor Evangelist Cora Mae Bracy.

His personality touched the lives of a multitude of people through his generosity and engaging smile ~ “A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold.” Proverbs 22:1(KJV)

Larry transitioned to heaven Monday, October 18, 2021.  He leaves to cherish precious memories his daughters, Kenya Bracy, Lorri Bracy, Cassandra Jones, Parris Bracy; son, Pearson Bracy; mother, Pastor Evangelist Cora Bracy; brothers, William Bracy, Jr. (Michelle), Joe Andrew Bracy, William Bracy; sisters, Yancy Bracy, JoAnn Bracy, Wonda Bracy-Elliot (Bernard), Mary Bracy; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Celebration Service for Larry Bracy will be 10:00 AM Saturday, October 30, 2021, Greater Moncrief Missionary Baptist Church, 1453 West 22nd Street.  Visitation Friday from 5 – 7 PM at The Soutel Chapel.  Because of the love of his family, arrangements entrusted to J.
