Joe Lee Marshall

Marshall ~ Joe Lee Marshall, Jr. was born August 16, 1948, in Jacksonville, Florida to Joe Lee and Earlene Marshall, Sr.

He started his merchant seaman career as a chef.  Joe spent many years working in warehouses and retired as a forklift driver from B J’s Wholesale Club.

He was preceded in death by son, Terence Marshall.  Joe leaves to cherish his memory, wife of thirty-one years, Carastine Marshall; sons, Terrald Marshall, Joe Lee Marshall III, Keith McCray (LaShanda); daughters, Sheila Carter (Antonio), Robin Edwards (Wilbur), Joelecia King (William); grandchildren, Antwain Marshall (Kutana), Nickia Marshall, Andre Marshall, Paul Carter, Kenneth Carter, Christopher Carter, DeShawn Collier, Jaylen King, Jada King, Angel Monise, Shaneika McCray, Keith McCray Jr; great grandchildren; brothers, Robert Marshall (Maxine), Joseph Marshall; sisters, Carol Lynn Marshall (Charlie), Sheila Gordon (Charles), Toni Marshall; niece, Shawnatá Henry (Dwain); a host of nephews, relatives, friends and loved ones.

Graveside Service for Joe Lee Marshall will be 10:00 AM Saturday, August 20, 2022, Evergreen Cemetery, 4535 Main Street.  Visitation Friday from 5 – 7 PM at The Soutel Chapel.  Because of the love of his family, arrangements entrusted to J.
