Joe Brown III

BROWN ~ Joe “Mann” Brown III was born December 28, 1983 in Beaufort, South Carolina to Joe Brown, Jr. and Rebecca Zayas Brown.  He attended Beaufort County Schools at a young age, then moved to Atlanta, Georgia with his family.  Mann later met and married India Jenkins and was highly blessed with two beautiful children, J’Niya & J’Kai.

Mann was a gentle giant and was loved by many. He made friends everywhere he went. Mann was a dedicated person to his family and friends. Construction was his passion and he could be called on to fix anything. He loved fishing, even at a young age ~ that was instilled in him by his father and grandfather.

Mann was preceded in death by his loving mother, Rebecca Zayas Brown (he loved her dearly and spoke of her almost every day); grandmother, Mosely Brown; aunt, Cynthia Bobian; brother-in-law, Thomas Bailey; father-in-law, Stanley Jenkins.

Left to cherish the loving memory of Mann, his wife, India Brown; children, J’Niya Brown and J’Kai Brown; father, Joe Brown, Jr.; siblings, Lisa Bailey, Robert DeJesus (Aarika), Yolanda Shanee Mayle, Syreeta Walters (Darrio), Tamika Gates (Ray), Antonio Brown (CoCo), Anthony Brown; mother-in-law, Audrey Abnar; grandmothers-in-law, Theresa “Gandy” Byrd Jones & Nancy Jenkins; very special brother-in-law, Tavares Campbell; brother-in-law, Stanley Jenkins, Jr.; sister-in-law, Tene Corn (Terrell) and Shamika Jenkins; special cousins, Travis Fields, Spencer Bobian, Tia Brown;  a host of aunts, cousins and many other people he held special in his heart.
