Joe Lewis Broadwater

BROADWATER ~  Joe Lewis Broadwater was born July 20, 1966 in Camilla, Georgia to the loving parents (The late) David Broadwater and Carrie Harris Broadwater.  Joe graduated from Piper High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.  After graduation, Joe served his country honorably by joining the United States Army.

His hobbies were fishing and most definitely eating. He had a smile that captured your attention on sight. Joe was loved by many with his charming personality, helping hands and loving heart.  

He was preceded in death by his father, David Broadwater; brother, Curtis Broadwater; sister, Bobbie-Jean Rodrigo.  Joe leaves to cherish his memory, a loving mother, Carrie Broadwater; brothers, David Broadwater, Jr., Ron Broadwater, Freddy Broadwater, Allen Broadwater, Richard Broadwater, Brian Broadwater, Blake Broadwater; sisters, Dorothy Jenkins, Daisy Broadwater,  Lavada Broadwater, Shelia Campbell, Jennifer Broadwater, Gloria Stevens, Ven Broadwater; a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly, including a long time love companion, Alice Washington, her daughter Sharon People (Maurice) and granddaughter, Shaquan Mormum and great-grandchildren; and close friend, Montemus Jenkins.

Celebration of Life Service for Joe Broadwater will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 27 at The Soutel Chapel, 5065 Soutel Drive.  Interment at Jacksonville National Cemetery at 1:00 PM.  Because of the love of his family arrangements entrusted to J.
