Jerome Forest, Jr.

Forest ~ Mr. Jerome Forest, Jr, 89, the son of Jerome Forest, Sr and Olivia Forest, was born July 10, 1933.  Mr. Forest transitioned Tuesday June 13, 2023.  He was educated in the local schools of Duval County and was a graduate of Stanton High School.

Jerome later joined the United Stated Army where he served in the Korean War and received an Honorable Discharge for his dedicated service.  Jerome worked in Broadcasting, where he was a Radio Promoter, for local radio stations for many years. 

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Kenneth (Cynthia) Jerome Hall, Christopher Forest, Linda Lewis, Penelope D. Hall; grandchildren, Kenneth (Alisa) Jerome Hall II, Anthony Hamilton, Stevie Hamilton, Lakita (Aaron) Spann, Stephanie Jackson, Christopher Jackson, Jade Hall; great grandchildren, Carter Hall, Brenna Jones, Arron Spann, Jr., Zahria Spann, Tyson Jackson, Aiden Jackson;  brothers, Bruce Forest and Kim (Renee) Forest; sister, Olivia Parker; nephews, David, Devictor (Gina), James; nieces, Michelle, Shantel, Simone, Charmane, Deena, Carrie; other relatives and friends.

Celebration of Life service for Jerome Forest, Jr. will be 11:00AM Friday, June 30, 2023, at The Soutel Chapel.  Visitation Thursday from 5 – 7:00 PM at The Soutel Chapel.  Interment at Jacksonville National Cemetery.  Because of the love of his family, arrangements entrusted to J.
