Jeffery Demond Ford

Ford ~ Brother Jeffery Demond Ford, Jr. was born to his parents, Brother Jeffery D. Ford, Sr., and Sister Jolyn Hobbs-Williams June 9, 2000, in Fernandina Beach (Nassau County) Florida.

He graduated from First Coast High School, Class of 2018. Jeffery was a member of the school chorus, Drama/Theater Club, ROTC, and Track & Field team. He had a passion for music and drama. Jeffery participated in several school plays especially “The Lion King” production. He was runner-up for Mr. First Coast.

Jeffery joined High Praise International Church in February 2017, under the leadership of Dr. Apostle Robin Taylor. He was a faithful member and a great witness for his Master. Jeffery also served on the Praise Team.

He was employed in January 2022 by Citibank in the Fraud Department; he enjoyed his job. Jeffery was a giver and loved his family, especially his niece and nephews, friends, and life. He tried to help everyone.

Preceded him in death, grandfather, Henry Hobbs, Sr.; uncles, Henry Hobbs, Jr., and Deacon Victor Wiley, Sr.

He answered his Master’s call Monday, May 9, 2022. Jeffery leaves to cherish all of his sweet memories, father, Jeffery D. Ford, Sr. (Jennifer); mother, Jolyn (Edward) Williams; siblings, Chanice Hobbs (Gerald), Kierra Ford, Tierra Ford (Michael); grandparents, Deacon Withie & Shirley Ford, Sr., Christine Hobbs; uncles, Isiah Wiley, Wilbert Jackson (Deborah), Withie Ford, Jr. (Traci), Maurice Hobbs, Tommy Hobbs, Patrick Smith, Dennis Brown (Janet); aunts, Kim Ford, Karen Hobbs, Katrina (Michael) Young, Katina Hobbs, Deborah Smith, Debra Stewart; nephews, De’Angelo Miranda and Brayden Hobbs; niece, Chaniya Hobbs; a host of sorrowing cousin and many friends.

Celebration of Life service for Brother Jeffery Demond Ford, Jr. will be 11:00 AM Saturday, May 21, 2022 at True Believers Church of God by Faith, Callahan, Florida.  Interment at Callahan Cemetery.  Because of the love of his family, arrangements entrusted to J.
