Francis Bernard McCarthy is preceded in death by his father, Albert Maxim; mother, Laudrina McCarthy; brother, Ian Felix; sister, Lynette Rivers; nephew, Frank Rivers, Jr.  He is survived by his children, Melchizedek Elijah & Yesschiah Jean; companion, Jessica; life partner, Joyce; uncle, Ben MaCarthy of Santa Cruz, Trinidat & Tobago; siblings, Ainsworth McCarthy (Marianne) of Baltimore, MD, Marlene McCarthy of Santa Cruz, Trinidad & Tobago, Cheryl “Sharon” Morris (Trevor) of Woodbridge, VA, Alicia “Lisa” Lawrence (Vernon) of Suffolk, VA, Marcielle Maxim of Baltimore, MD, Albert “Richard” Maxim of Roselle, NJ; devoted in-law (DuPont’s); a large extended family of nephews, nieces, cousins;  and many wonderful and special friends. 

Graveside service for Francis Bernard McCarthy will be 11:00 AM Thursday, September 10, 2020 at Edgewood Cemetery, 4519 North Edgewood Dr.  Family will receive friends Wednesday at The Soutel Chapel from 4 – 6 PM.  Because of the love of his family, arrangements entrusted to J.
