Williams ~ Eric Gerard Williams was born to Jacob and Gloria Williams July 25, 1969 in Blackshear, Georgia. He received Christ at an early age at Ebenezer United Methodist Church where he was a member of the youth group, choir and was an Acolyte. Eric was a 1987 graduate of Jean Ribault High School where he was a member of the marching band.
After graduation, Eric served in the U S Navy Reserve for four years. After his service to his country, Eric returned to Jacksonville and at the time of his death, he was employed with All People Pharmacy.
Eric’s fun loving and outgoing personality will be missed. His memory will live on with his children, Tiearra Dickens & Eric Williams, Jr.; grandchildren, Michael Hampton, Jr., Nasir Fahnbulleh, Londyn Dickens, Ayonna Dickens, Amarion Dickens, Lillian Williams; parents, Jacob & Gloria Williams; brother, Jacob Williams, Jr.; children’s mother, Latrease Jones; uncle, Cassius (Connie) Williams; aunts, Lametta McNair, Almisha Mattox, Linda Faye Rogers, Jackie (Thomas) McKinnie, Sandra Thomas, Barbara Hoyrst; cousins, Anita (Tony) Wright & Family, Nick (Sibyl) Barnum & Family, Tobie (Michael) Dunbar & Family, Bubba (Chanda) Mattox & Family; close family friends, Roxy & D. J. Cobb; a host of other caring cousins and friends. Eric will truly be missed.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of Eric Gerard Williams, 11 AM Thursday, December 29, 2022, at New Life Community U M Church, 11100 Wingate Road. Pastor Lamont Hogans.
