Ephron Johnson

JOHNSON ~  Ephron Lee Johnson affectionately known as “Lee” was born to the late Louise Gray McCloud and Ephron Johnson July 7, 1951 in Jacksonville, Florida. On Monday, July 19, 2021 God called Lee to rest. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ruby Marie Williams; uncle, John (Barbara) Gray.  Lee believed in God and had a strong unwavering faith. Lee was such a gentle giant that loved spending time with family; he had an infectious smile.  His memory will live forever in the hearts of wife, children and family.

Lee leaves to cherish his memory a devoted wife, Gwendolyn D. “Gwen” Johnson; children, Elliott and Jason Johnson, Wayne, Terry, Marcellus, Shaconda, and Valerie;  siblings, Deacon Willie (Rose) Kirkland, Pastor Wilhelmenia (Forest) Gilbert, Mr. James (Cindy) Johnson, Pastor Clarence (Tangie) Johnson, Arthur Lee and Lawrence McCloud; aunt, Wylene Hughes; god-sister, Beatrice “BB” Brown; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, church family and friends.

Celebration of Life service for Ephron Lee Johnson will be 11:00AM Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at New Spirit Full Gospel Word Church.  Visitation Tuesday, July 27, 2021 from 4 – 6:00 PM at The Soutel Chapel.  Because of the love of his family, arrangements entrusted to J.
