Edward James

James ~ Mr. Edward James was born October 21, 1945, in Warwick, Georgia to Sandy and Erma James.  He attended school in Warwick, Georgia.  Edward was employed with Celotex Corporation for over forty years, where he retired.

Edward was called home to be with the Lord Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at the age of seventy-seven.  He was preceded in death by his father, Sandy James; mother, Erma James; brothers, Benjamin James and Troy James.

He leaves to cherish his memories brothers, Tommie, Columbus (Mary), Marvin (Sylvia), Sandy (Betty), Weldon (Audrey); sisters, Carolyn (Hubert), Pauline, Ruby, and Janie.  Edward loved all his family dearly.  He had a special bond with his niece, Cheryl; nephews, Adrian, Michael, Mario, Joshua, and Carlos as if they were his own children.  Edward went by many names, but he was our Bully Joe.

Edward was well known as a very special person to his neighbors and always helpful.  He was their “Mr. Fix It Man”.  He was truly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
