Douglas Waddell

Waddell ~ Douglas Waddell was born January 30, 1947, in Jacksonville, Florida to Douglas & Marion Waddell.  He attended the local schools of Duval County.  After high school, Douglas served his country in the U S military.  He later attended college, earned a bachelor’s degree and became employed with I B M as a computer technician.   

Douglas was preceded in death by parents; sisters, Sandra Crews & Eleanor Waddell.  Left to cherish his memory, nephew, Darrell Waddell; niece, Desiree Gordon; grand nephews and nieces, Jamel Gordon, Crystal Therry, Tammy Brown, Jason Brown, Danovia Waddell; cousins, Shirley Lambert, Bernadette Dennings; a host of extended family and friends. He will truly be missed.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of Douglas Waddell, 4 – 6:00 PM Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at The Soutel Chapel.  Because of the love of his family, arrangements entrusted to J. E. Fralin & Sons Funeral & Cremation Services, 5065 Soutel Dr, 904.924.9400.
