Dorothy Cooper Edwards

Edwards ~ Mrs. Dorothy Cooper Edwards, daughter of the late Mr. Donival Delacy and Mrs. Elizabeth Marion Cooper, was born August 25, 1933, in Waycross, Georgia.  She attended the local public schools of Ware County.

On October 9, 1992, God enriched her life through marriage to the late Charles Edwards in Jacksonville, Florida.

She leaves to cherish her memories, devoted daughters, Mary Norris (Bobby), Jacqueline Massey, Wanda Battles (Roland); grandchildren, Bobby Jr., Anthony, Lynette, Jerry and Jamaya; great-grandchildren, Antwan, Amber, Ampriel, Dominique, Anthony, Deverick, Aquan, Ratozzrin, Natalya and Isaiah; special friend/niece, Paula Jones; a host of other family members and friends.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of Dorothy Cooper Edwards, 11 AM Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at The Soutel Chapel.   Visitation Monday from 5 – 7 PM at The Soutel Chapel.  Interment in Jacksonville National Cemetery.  Because of the love of her family, arrangements entrusted to J.
