FUSSELL ~ Doretha H. Fussell was born September 18, 1938 to the late King Harris and Bessie Davis in Sylvester, Georgia.
Doretha served on the Jacksonville Public Housing Tenant Advisory Council for many years. She was a member of Dayspring Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. Jeffrey K. Rumlin.
Doretha was preceded in death by her husband, James Fussell; daughter, Beverly Fussell and her parents. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. Doretha leaves to cherish her memory, sister, Willie Mae Harris; granddaughters, Bermia Fussell & Bianca Collins; nine great-grandchildren, Chassidi, Tony Jr., Makayla, Teonna, Keleyah, James, Messiah, Raniiah, Isiah; a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
Celebration of Life Service for Doretha Harris Fussell will be Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Dayspring Baptist Church, 5654 Dunn Avenue, Dr. Jeffrey K. Rumlin, Pastor. Family will receive friends Friday from 5 – 7 PM. Interment at Jacksonville National Cemetery. Because of the love of her family arrangements entrusted to J. E.
