Hadden ~ Donnie Hadden was born June 23, 1959, in Folkston, Georgia, to the late Jessie L. Hadden Sr. and Gussie Mae Nelson. He received his education in the public schools of Duval County. Donnie was a member of Christ Followers of Jacksonville where he served as an usher and song with the men choir.
He worked for Duval Asphalt for more than twenty years. Donnie had a love for his family that was incredible. On Thursday, December the 12th, Donnie answered the call and went home to his Lord and Savior.
Donnie was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie L. Hadden Sr. and Gussie Mae Nelson; brother, Jessie L. Hadden Jr. and twin, Ronnie Hadden. He leaves to cherish precious memories, his children, Curlene Picard (Jyn), Joquanja Fryer, Donnie Hadden Jr.; grandchildren, Jynesis, Jyniah, Jynessa Picard, Xennique Lewis, J’Quan, Georgianna, Jakhia Fryer, Jophmunn Taylor, and five more grandchildren; five great grandchildren; brothers, Willie (Mary), McArthur, Danny Boy, Joseph (Cantrece); sisters, Ella Mae (Rogers), Gloria, Louella (Jerald), Irene, Delia, Sharon; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Celebration of Life service for Donnie Hadden will be 1:00PM Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Christ Followers of Jacksonville, 6620 Arlington Expressway.
