Wooden ~ Deloris Annette Wooden was a loving kind-hearted person who was there for everyone who needed her help. She loved everybody, especially her family. Her favorite snacks were honey buns and bologna. Deloris was an outgoing person who loved life. Though her passing leaves a deep ache in the hearts of all who loved her, her memory will live on through the kindness she shared with others.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph, Otha Lee, Otis Jr; sisters, Tiny Bee, Nettie C, Lily Mae & Annie Sue Wooden and Lily Flower. Deloris leaves to cherish her memory, husband of twenty-four years, Timothy Reed; son, Vedero Reed; sister, Brenda Wooden; brother-in-law, Gerald (Lisa) Reed; nephews, Tony (Tajunia), Stavaughn, Foshea, Angelo, Damien; nieces, Keisha, Sam, Tameaka, Lovey, Sophia; wonderful goddaughter, Crystal Trueman; friends, Marlo Jackson and Hazel Jones; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Deloris will truly be missed.
Celebration of Life service for Mrs. Deloris Annette Wooden will be 11:00AM Saturday, November 9, 2021, at The Soutel Chapel. Visitation one hour before the service.
