Harley ~ Mrs. Deloris Harley transitioned November 7, 2022. She was born to the late Earl Franklin and Lola Bell Redding January 19, 1950. Deloris received her primary education in the public schools of Duval County and graduated from New Stanton class of 1967. Her post-secondary education was at Florida Junior College where she earned her certification as a certified nursing assistant.
Deloris was employed with Turtle Creek Health Care Center, Home Sweet Home Adult Day Care and she assisted her husband with their business, Harley Transportation for several years.
During her walk with Christ, Deloris began fellowshipping with Shiloh Metropolitan Baptist Church where she has been a dedicated member since 1995. Outside of loving the Lord, Deloris enjoyed volunteering, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Deloris was preceded in death by her first born, Anastasia (Stacy) Zeigler. She leaves to honor and cherish her loving memory, her beloved husband, Nathaniel Harley; daughter, Lucinda (Kevin) Jackson; sons, Nathaniel (Kym) Harley Jr., Fletcher D. Harley, Ricky (Janice) Grant; grandchildren & great grandchildren; sister, Erma J. Holmes; brothers, Alphonso Franklin, Clifford (Rosa) Holmes; special nieces, Angela (Rafae’l) Harris, Jasmine Burkins, Sharon (Quentin) Whitfield; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and devoted friends.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of Mrs. Deloris F. Harley, 10 AM Friday, November 18, 2022, at Shiloh Metropolitan Baptist Church, 1118 West Beaver Street, H. B. Charles, Jr., Pastor-Teacher. Visitation Thursday from 5 – 7 PM at The Soutel Chapel. Interment in Jacksonville National Cemetery. Because of the love of her family, arrangements entrusted to J. E.
