Damari L. Brown

Brown ~ With deep love we celebrate the life of Demari Lee Brown who was born July 26, 2005, to the proud parents of Walter Lee Brown and Lamonica Sharelle Brown in Jacksonville, Florida.

Damari attended Ed White Senior High School.  He enjoyed fishing and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs football team.  His journey was marked by family, strength, and love.  His second love was playing with his play station and competing with his cousins on the play station.  Damari also enjoyed cooking on the grill.

He was preceded in death by hi brothers, Camarian and Jakari Brown; grandfather, Walter Brown, Jr.  He leaves to cherish his memory parents, Walter Brown III and Lamonica Brown; grandparents, Larry & Virginia Rodall, Evelyn Brown; uncles and aunts, Phyllis Brown, Phil Brown, Darrell Brown, Takeria (Latorrance) Webb, Jamarian Brown; great uncles and great aunts, Edna Brown, Rosemary Brown, Jenny Burks, Clifford Brown, Samuel Brown, Geraldine Collins, Amanda Bennette, Barbara Hall, Sarah Hall, Charles Edwards, Frank Edwards, Leo Edwards, Diane Goodenman, Yvette Walker, Louise Cannon, Sharon Thomas, Joseph Bryant, Willie Bryant, Eddie Bryant; a host of cousins, extended family and friends.

Damari will be profoundly missed and fondly remembered by everyone whose lives he touched.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of Demari Lee Brown, 11 AM Saturday, February 21, 2026, at First New Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 4835 Soutel Drive.   Visitation Friday from 5 – 7 PM at The Church.  Interment in Restlawn Memorial Park South.
