Claude E. Wright

Wright ~ Claude Edward Wright was born June 23, 1947, in McRae, Georgia, to the late William Wright and Gracie Wallace. He received his education from Stanton High School of Jacksonville, Florida.

Throughout his life he was employed by BellSouth, Pittman & Sons, and as Security at Moncrief Lounge. Claude was a man of few words; he loved his family, walking and hanging out with the fellas at Moncrief Lounge and the surrounding area. Most importantly he gave his life to Christ.

Claude was called home to join our Heavenly Father on September 20, 2026. He was preceded in death by his loving parents; sisters, Hattie Allen and Helen Davis. Claude leaves to cherish his memory, his loving daughters, Patricia Wright of Jacksonville, Florida, Claudia Wright of Fernandina, Florida; son, David Williams of Jacksonville, Florida; bonus daughters, LaWanda Hooper of Bradenton, Florida and Arnetia Jordan (Sheldon) of Jacksonville, Florida; grandchildren, Taneisha Bonhomme, Shaneque Moore, Toniette and Luther Lee, Alaynna Wright, A’Layah Moore; six great-grandchildren; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and many sorrowing friends. His legacy will continue to live on through the lives of those that knew him best.
