Hunter-Chywana ~ Marsha Hunter was born May 25, 1970 to Charles and Beverly Nettles in Mobile, Alabama, both whom preceded her in eternal rest. She enjoyed playing and watching women’s basketball. Chywana was an extremely caring person who loved helping others, especially children. She spent many of her evenings watching “Law & Order” and attending children’s sporting events. Chywana was preceded in death by her parents and sister, LaSonia McCaskill. She leaves to cherish her memory, loving husband, Nathanael Hunter, Sr.; sons, Christian, Nathanael Jr., Corey, Antonio & Nathaniel Hunter; brother, Enoch (Cassandra) Ford; sisters, Yolanda Lucas, Lynn Ford; uncle, Reverend Robert Ford; aunts, Rosemary Henley, Viola Ford, Voncile (James) Ali, Delois Murphy, Bernetta Capel, Jeanette Carey, Gladys (Maurice) White; special nephew/nieces, Tyshawn, Kelsey, Shanne & Nyaisa Augusta and LaSonya Ford; a host of extended family and friends. Chywana, a loving person that will truly be missed. Celebration service for Mrs. Chywana Hunter will be 10:00 AM Friday, July 3, 2020, at Greater Harvest Christian Fellowship, 9113 Ridge Boulevard, Pastor Johnny Legons. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, service will be attended by immediate family only. Viewing will be at The Soutel Chapel Thursday, July 2, 2020, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM.
