Casey Lee Wilder

Wilder ~ Casey Lee Wilder was born February 1, 1987, in Whiteville, North Carolina, to Elder Sammy Lee Wilder and Jeanette Wilder.  He was one of twelve children and attended Whiteville High School. Casey served his country faithfully in the United States Army for nine years and retired honorably.

From childhood, he was a member of The Holy Temple Church of the Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith. He was born again and filled with the Holy Spirit and was an ordained Deacon and Chairman of the Brotherhood at The Holy Temple Church in Jacksonville, Florida under the leadership of Elder Philip Boston.

Casey and Kirashae were married August 6, 2016, at The Holy Temple Church in Greenville, South Carolina where they served under Bishop Curtis Forbes.

Casey Wilder departed this life August 9, 2023, at the age of thirty-six years.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Jason James Wilder and grandmother, Leslie Griffin.  Casey leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Kirashae Wilder; sons, Jermiah Wilder and Caleigh Wilder; daughters, Grace Wilder and Merci Wilder; father, Elder Sammy Wilder; mother, Jeanette Wilder (Griffin); brothers, Calvin Wilder, Bobby Wilder, Douglas Wilder, Marshall Wilder, Brad Wilder; sisters, Samantha Wilder Barr, Dorothy Stackhouse, Doris Lancaster, Karen Wilder, Danyelle Wilder; a host of nephews, nieces, many other family and friends.

Celebration of Life viewing service for Casey Lee Wilder will be 11:30am, Friday, August 18, 2023 at The Soutel Chapel.   Interment at Jacksonville National Cemetery.
