Davis ~ Ms. Beatrice W. Davis was born June 15, 1931 to the late Robert Williams and Agnes Howard. She graduated from Stanton High School, class of 1950. Soon after, she was joined in matrimony to the late Eddie “Cutrate” Davis and this union was blessed with three children.
She accepted Christ at a young age and later became a devoted member of West Friendship Baptist Church where she enjoyed meeting and greeting as an usher. Her favorite past time was spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.
Bea, affectionately and famously known as ‘Gama” by her first grandchild, Shawn, was sweet to everyone. She leaves to mourn, children, Peggy King, Brenda (Zack) Scott, Eddie (Willie Mae) Davis; grands, Shawn (Jay) Wright, John Wright, Jr., Toni Callahan, Meleea (Hector) Rodriquez, Lori (William) Dailey, Robin (George) Jones, Tameka Davis, Eddie Davis, Jr.; fifteen great grands; three great-great grands; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other loving relatives and friends.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of Mrs. Beatrice W. Davis, 1 PM Saturday, October 16, 2021, at Restlawn Memorial Park. Because of the love of her family, arrangements entrusted to J. E. Fralin & Sons Funeral & Cremation Services, 5065 Soutel Dr, 904.924.9400.
