Anna Williams

Williams ~ Minister Anna W. Williams was born May 24, 1954 in Lakeland, Georgia to the late Deacon George Lewis Wrice, Sr. and the late Clara Ruth Wrice.  She graduated from Lanier County School System in Lakeland, Georgia.  Upon graduating, Anna moved to Brunswick, Georgia, where she lived for several years.  After marriage, she moved to Jacksonville, Florida where she worked in hospitality and later employed at Cuda Surgical.  Anna, known to all as selflessness, a giver, opened her home and became a foster parent to several children.  In 2007, she began working at Walmart as a Customer Sales Associate.

Anna was a faithful servant at Philadelphia Overcomers Church of Deliverance, under the leadership of the late Pastor Daniel Wilson and First Lady Rosa Wilson for forty years.  During her tenure, she was ordained as a Minister.

On Sunday, October 3, 2021, the Lord declared “Well done, thou good and faithful servant.  In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph Sr. and Daniel Wrice; sister, Brenda Faye Wrice.  She leaves to cherish her memory, son, Otis Festus Champeon Williams Jr of Jacksonville, Florida; daughters, Tiffany Williams, Franshon Hogan of Jacksonville, Florida, Sherronda Miller-Hill (Limouse “Sonny”) of Thomasville, Georgia; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; brother, George Lewis Wrice Jr (Betty) of Homerville, Georgia; sisters, Polly Wrice Mills of Laleland, Georgia, LaTonya Kay Thomas of Jacksonville, Florida; goddaughter, Aryanna Alderman; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family and friends.

Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Minister Anna W. Williams, 12 PM Saturday, October 16, 2021, at Philadelphia Overcomers Church of Deliverance, 3701 Darien Highway, Brunswick, Georgia.   Because of the love of her family, arrangements entrusted to J.
