Williams ~ Anita Yvonne Williams transitioned into eternal life on March 15,2026. She was born November 1,1958 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Cleophus and Jessie Lee McCoy. Anita attended the Duval County School System, graduating from Jean Ribault Senior High School.
She retired from Alsco Uniforms Services after years of dedicated service. Anita attended Open Arms Community Church for many years until her health failed. She enjoyed reading her bible and spending precious time with her family.
Anita was preceded in death by her parents, Cleophus & Jessie Lee McCoy; siblings, Grayln McCoy, Melvin McCoy; granddaughter, Brittany Palmer. She leaves to cherish his love and memories, children, Vontria’ (Sheldon) Mobley, Jabrina Williams, Lawrence Williams Jr; grandchildren, Lexis Ellis, LaRae Ellis, Larry Ellis, Tasha Williams, Aaron Wallace, Brianna Palmer, Samiya Williams, Famous Williams, Sheldon Mobley Jr, Sheldrika Mobley; great grandchildren, Avery Henderson III, Corey Johnson, Jayce Littles, Tiana Turner, Adam Wallace, Genesis Williams, Camillia Rodgers, Cameron Rodgers; siblings, Cleophus McCoy Jr, Bonita McCoy (twin sister), April Washington, Patricia (Bruce) Browder, Brenda McCoy; former husband, Lawrence Williams Sr; a host of beloved uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of Anita Yvonne Williams, 11 AM Saturday, March 2, 2026, at Open Arms Christian Fellowship, 2763 Dunn Avenue. Visitation Friday from 5 – 7 PM at The Soutel Chapel. Interment in Restlawn Memorial Park South. Because of the love of her family, arrangements entrusted to J. E.
