Alvin Williams, Jr.

Williams ~ Alvin Williams, Jr. was born January 8, 1953, to Alvin and Carrie Williams, Sr. in Jacksonville, Florida.  He was educated in Duval County Public School System, graduating from Paxon High School, class of 1972.  Alvin furthered his education at Florida Community College at Jacksonville, Florida.

He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age.  Alvin later married Michele Narine, his devoted wife for twenty years; they were blessed with two children, Alvin and Alvin.  He was employed as a long shoreman for approximately twenty-two years.  Alvin loved to fish, barbeque and spend time with his family and friends.

Alvin leaves a devoted family to cherish his memory, wife, Michele Williams; sons, Alvin Williams III (Yvette), Alvin Shane Williams (Jackie); twelve grandchildren; devoted sisters, Linda Williams, Jackie Tyson; caring friends from Miami, Florida, Clyde Wright, Mrs. Peaches and husband; special friend, Lillian Thomas; extended family/friends, The Harris Family, The Clark Family, The Bell Family; a host of cousins and friends.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of Alvin Williams, Jr., 11 AM Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at New United Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church, 1955 Edgewood Avenue West.   Visitation Monday from 5 – 7 PM at The Soutel Chapel.  Interment in Restlawn Memorial Park.  Because of the love of his family, arrangements entrusted to J.
