Carter ~ Alma Jenkins Carter was born to Dewey and Darsular Jenkins on May 19, 1931, in Silco, Georgia.
Alma, aka Daisy, was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Carter, Sr; siblings, Eugene, Andrew (Rosa Lee), Dewey (Toni), Herbert (Sarah), Nathaniel, Epsie Lee (Napoleon Sr), Suzanne (Serafine), Katie (William Sr) and Toy. She leaves behind to cherish her memory a beloved son, Roosevelt Cobb Sr (Joan); grandsons, Roosevelt Cobb Jr, Alankato Cobb; granddaughter, Asia Washington; brother, Lonnie Jenkins; sister, Betty Sims; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Alma was a cosmetologist and enjoyed making others beautiful in her privately owned “Daisy’s Beauty Shop”. She will truly be missed.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of Ms. Alma Carter, 11 AM Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Greater Hope Ministries, 925 Edgewood Avenue West. Visitation Friday from 3 – 5 PM at The Soutel Chapel. Interment in Restlawn Memorial Park North. Because of the love of her family, arrangements entrusted to J. E.
