JAMES ~ Travis Darelle James was born January 25, 1988 in Jacksonville, Florida to Wallace James II and Janette Adams. He attended the local schools of Duval County.
Travis was an entrepreneur, a writer, rapper and author. He was a true soldier and fearless as a lion. His greatest joy was loving his family. Travis gave his life experience through the words of music. His dream was to become a famous rapper and novelist.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Chester Whigham, Sr. and Wallace James, Sr; grandmothers, Janice Handy and Helen James.
Travis Darelle James departed this life Sunday, October 13, 2019 in Jacksonville, Florida and leaves to cherish his memory wife, Sareeda James; children, Simone, Syriah, Travis, Samora; father, Wallace (Roe) James II; mother, (Janette (Danny) Adams; siblings, Wallace III, Dravonte, Devon, Latorria, Lil Danny, Yvette, Xavier, Marquis, Tremayne (Quinn), Shank, Corey, Jasmine and Jaleesa; a host of nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, cousins, extended family and friends; including special sister-in-law and friend, Ashley Bridges.
Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Travis Darelle James will be 2:00 PM Saturday, October 19, 2019 at African Methodist Episcopal Church of The Master, 5637 Vernon Road, Rev. Charles Jones; Apostle A. D. Meeks, Officiating, The Awakening Power of God’s Word Ministries. Family will receive friends Friday at the church from 5 - 7 PM. Interment at Restlawn Memorial Park.
