Sandra Lawson Dennis

DENNIS ~ Deacon Sandra Lorraine Dennis was born December 23, 1960 to the late Willie James Lawson and June Lorraine Nelms.  She was a graduate of Andrew Jackson Senior High School, Class of 1978, and later Jones College.  She was a devoted wife, loved God and her family; a member of Bethel Baptist Institutional Church and Baptist Medical Center Auxiliary where she served joyfully.   

Sandra was called home to be with the Lord  July 28, 2018 and leaves to cherish her memory a devoted husband of thirty years, Deacon Earl Marion Dennis; a beautiful daughter, Quichavia Sandrea Lawson; five grand daughters, Na’veh T. Fields, Nyla T. Lawson, Joe’zaryah Lewis, Jalona Dennis, Jalen Dennis; grandsons, Charles D. Goshay, Eric Dennis, Chief N. Parks; step sons, Juan L. Dennis, Earl A. Dennis & Lorne Dennis; sisters, Shirley T. Moore, Angelia P. Lawson, Maxine L. Hansley, Barbara Thomas; brothers, Harold J. Lawson, Gregory Lawson, Charles Nelms;  a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Celebration of Life Service for Deacon Sandra Lorraine Dennis will be graveside 10:00 AM Friday, August 3, 2018 at Edgewood Cemetery, 4519 North Edgewood Drive.  Visitation THURSDAY from 5 – 7:00 PM at Bethel Baptist Institutional Church, Bishop R.
