Ruby "Marie" McCloud-Williams

WILLIAMS ~ Mrs. Ruby Marie Williams was born Tuesday, February 24, 1959 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Louise McCloud & Arthur Lee McCloud.  She was a graduate of Jean Ribault Senior High School, class of 1977.  Marie furthered her education and received her bachelor’s in Biblical studies at Jacksonville Theological Seminary.

Marie was born to sing and singing she did.  At the age of 7, she joined her first singing group, the McCloud Singers; she was the youngest member.  At the dissolve of the McCloud Singers, the New Creations Gospel Singers emerged, where Marie was one of the founding members.  Loyal and devoted, Marie has been with singing for the past fifty-one years.   

She was a faithful member of New Spirit Full Gospel Word Church where she served on the Praise Team Ministry and assisted in the church finance office.                                                                                                                                                       

Ruby Marie Williams will always be remembered as fun, loving and vibrant.  She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.  Marie will always be loved, adored and remembered by her wonderful family, husband, Randle Williams; children, Steven McCloud Sr., LaTissha Johnson, Brittanie (Ernest) Lundy; grandchildren, JaShawn & Jawuan Dixon, Raijeen, Kamay & Steven McCloud Jr., Viyonce’ Griffin, Ernest III & Eden Lundy; great-grandchildren, JaWuan Dixon Jr. & JaShawn Dixon Jr.; honorary grandchild, Andreyana Gibson; brothers, Willie (Rose) Kirkland Jr., Ephron Johnson, James (Cindy) Johnson, Pastor Clarence (Tangie) Johnson; sister, Dr. Wilhelmenia (Bishop Forest) Gilbert; uncle, John (Barbara) Gray (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania); aunt, Wylene Hughes; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other loving relatives and friends.

Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Ruby “Marie” McCloud-Williams will be 11:00 AM Saturday, November 3, 2018 at New Spirit Full Gospel Word Church, 4511 Soutel Drive, Bishop Forest Gilbert, Pastor; Dr. Wilhelmenia Gilbert, Pastor.  Interment at Restlawn Memorial Park.  Family will receive friends at the church from 9:30 AM until the hour of service.  Because of the love of her family, arrangements entrusted to J.
